Laura Franke is a Senior Managing Consultant in the Los Angeles office of The PFM Group. Ms. Franke focuses on providing financing solutions for environmentally friendly projects that may utilize municipal debt. Her services include consulting, transaction advisory and financial program management along with traditional debt issuance. Since joining PFM, Ms. Franke has provided information to colleagues throughout the firm regarding the relevance of Environmental Finance as a cross-specialization that works within each practice group, these efforts have resulted in special assignments with existing clients across the nation. Under the heading of Environmental Finance, she has taken over the firm’s successful Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program practice group. The firm’s first PACE program is set to launch in fall 2011 for the Western Riverside Council of Governments, a regional program in California. Two additional program regions have selected PFM to serve as Program Manager for their PACE implementation and are currently in contract negotiation.
Prior to joining PFM, Ms. Franke had her own financial advisory firm from 2008 to 2011, and previously worked as an investment banker for over 20 years with Piper Jaffray & Co. and George K. Baum & Co.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Washington University.
